Christmas 2018 WAAAM

One day during my stay with my daughter, we visited the Western Antique Aeroplane and Automobile Musem (WAAAM).  Not being much of a car or airplane enthusiast, I wasn't sure what to expect but was pleasantly surprised by this place. "WAAAM is a nonprofit 501 organization committed to the preservation of, and education about aviation, automobile, and other historic transportation-related relics."  There are three huge warehouses jammed full of old airplanes, cars and a plethora of other antiques, everything from prams to telephones to bicycles and motorcycles, all lovingly restored by a large contingent of volunteers.  Almost all of the planes and cars are operable.

If you're ever in Hood River, OR, stop by this museum.  It's well worth it.
