The Mexican zilionaire, Carolos Slim, recently opened a small museum just a block from my place. As is the case with his big museum below,
this one is named after his wife, Soumaya. The museum is in a restored Porfiriato mansion
and houses the collection of Guillermo Tovar de Teresa, an aficionado of Mexican history, art, cinema, music and considered to be one of the most important chroniclers of the history of this city.
There are some nice pieces in it and it's a beautiful old place
Another one of the surprises that lurk around every corner here.
